The Story Behind Tomato Thokku

Tomato thokku is the taste many of us grew up with.

Ours is made using ripe tomatoes, garlic for depth, simple spices, and cold-pressed groundnut oil. All slow cooked patiently until the flavours come together beautifully.

It is rich, tangy, gently spicy, and perfectly balanced.
You taste the natural sweetness of tomato first.
Then the warmth of garlic.
Then the quiet spice that lingers.

It turns the simplest meal into something deeply satisfying.

Everyday Comfort

This thokku fits naturally into everyday meals and adds warmth and flavour to simple homemade dishes. It pairs wonderfully with breakfast favourites such as idli, dosa, chapati, akki rotti, ragi rotti, curd rice, pongal, and upma. Even a small spoonful can transform a regular meal into something more satisfying and flavourful.

Lunch / Dinner

For lunch or dinner, this thokku pairs beautifully with chapati, roti, and paratha. It can also be mixed with curd rice, lemon rice, coconut rice, dal rice, or hot steamed rice with a spoon of ghee. As it rests over time, the flavours continue to deepen and blend, making each serving richer and more enjoyable.

Snack Pairing

This thokku can also be enjoyed with snacks such as murukku, nippattu, and ribbon pakora. It also works wonderfully as a spread inside sandwiches, adding a tangy and spicy layer of flavour that complements snacks without overpowering them.

Available In

The product is available in multiple pack sizes including 75g trial collection, 200g pack, 375g pack, and 900g pack. These options make it easy for customers to try the product first or choose a larger pack for regular household use.

Ingredients

This thokku is prepared using carefully selected ingredients such as cold-pressed groundnut oil, tomato, tamarind, red chilli powder, salt, garlic, mustard seeds, mixed spices, curry leaves, and asafoetida. It is made without artificial preservatives, artificial colours, or artificial flavours to maintain its authentic homemade taste.

Storage & Care

To maintain freshness and flavour, refrigerate the thokku after opening. Always use a clean and dry spoon when serving and avoid any water entering the jar. With proper storage and care, the thokku stays fresh and flavourful for a long time.
